Johore/Kota Tinggi Firefly Tour

Our coach will proceed to Johore Checkpoint to be met by your Malaysian guide. City sights included the Sultan Ibrahim Building, a blending of both Western & Eastern architecture, the “island Besar” (The Grand Palace), “Royal Sultan Abu Bakar Museum” that overlook the Straits of Johore and “Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque” showing off its elegance that often amaze visitors.

Before leaving Johore Bahru for Kota Tinggi, we’ll stop at Kampung Mohd. Amin, for a taste of Malay culture where arts and crafts are showcased. Enjoy a traditional Malay culture dance with traditional musical instruments. Check out the small homestead and garden for its local spice garden, local fruit trees and see a demonstration of rubber tapping and batik painting.

Next Kota Tinggi, approximately an hour’s drive away. Take in the sights of rural Malaysia in your drive to this small town situated along the banks of the Johore River. Settle down for dinner that includes fresh seafood at about 18.30hrs. (drink own account).

After dinner we board a boat (45 mins) to withness the Firefiles along the river bank that has amazed visitors with its tiny sparkles (life vest are provided). Return to shore, have a toilet break before making our journey back to Singapore.

Note: passenger having any commitment before 23.00hrs is NOT advised to participate in this tour. “Fireflies” on most nights will appear however in the unlikely event that the “Fireflies” fail to appear, there will be no refund or compensation.
