THE RETREAT @ Singapore Marriott Hotel opened in March 2000 on the fourth level of the hotel and is part of the hotel's fitness centre which includes a gymnasium, landscaped rooftop pool and cafeteria.

Unlike mega spas with their impersonal nature, the spa is uniquely designed to be an intimate and cozy boutique spa, specialising in innovative and traditional Asian and European wellness and beauty therapies. The treatment rooms are aesthetically designed to blend with the surrounding landscaped tropical gardens. This design approach is in line with The Retreat's concept of achieving total wellness via a return to the natural remedies of water, air, light, diet, exercise and herbs.
The Retreat provides full spa facilities, complete with steam rooms, saunas, hot and cool spa pools. A range of beauty and wellness services that includes facials, therapeutic massages, body scrubs & wraps, manicure & pedicure and hair waxing are also available in our Balinese-themed massage rooms.
Outdoor spa treatments can be arranged in the pavilion surrounding the pool on level 5.
